Over in Australia, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been preoccupied with getting new legislation through parliament.
The Federal Anti-Corruption bill seems to be in a good position, with the current senate preparing to wave it through, concerns not withstanding.
The hearings have been going on in Canberra for most of the afternoon, and although the details of these hearings are obscured, Australian correspondent Murray Olds says they seem to be in favour of passing the bill.
