Description:

As Governor General from 1898 to 1904, Minto enjoyed political stability in Canada. His life in Canada actually dated back to 1885 when he served during the NW Resistance. During his time as vice-regal, he would promote Canadian heritage, visit the Klondike and do much more.

In Cabri, the birthplace of Bobby Gimby, you will find two historic churches, a great local museum and unique sand hills that were created as the ice sheets melted during the last ice age.
