It has the fifth worse vaccination rate in the country and is also near the top of the list when it comes to hospitalizations. Don interviews patients at Baton Rouge General Hospital who have become infected with Covid-19 and who have also not been vaccinated, a common concern being how rapidly they perceived the speed of the vaccine’s development. The 2020 census is out and shows the white population in the U.S. is shrinking for the first time in the country's history, declining 8.6% from 2010, down to 57.8%.
