Covid-19 cases, hospitalisations and deaths are on the rise with more than 163,000 new cases per day in the U.S, four times higher than Labor Day 2020. Dr Fauci says the Pfizer vaccine booster shot is likely to be ready by the September 20 rollout but the Moderna booster may be delayed.

President Biden is to visit flood ravaged communities in New York and New Jersey tomorrow as the regions reel from deadly storms with hundreds of thousands still without power. 52 deaths in the Northeast are blamed on the storm. Around 500,000 customers are still without power in Louisiana.
