	Description:		Cuts to a government transport subsidy scheme for disabled people will cost people who can least afford it and shrink their lives, according to a disability support service. The Transport and Disability Issues Ministers revealed the proposal yesterday to reduce the current subsidy from 75 percent to 65 percent. Discounts on public transport fares, which can vary between regions, will be cut by 10 percent. Chief executive of disability advocacy group Aspire Canterbury, Chris Davis spoke to Lisa Owen.
