Last week, we walked through the crucifixion and the meaning behind Jesus’ final words, “It is finished.” If you haven’t listened to that episode, I’d love for you to go back and check it out. But today, we’re focusing on just three words spoken in this chapter—words from Mary Magdalene: “I have seen the Lord.” one of the most powerful and personal moments in all of Scripture—John chapter 20. So what does it mean to really see the Lord? How does this resurrection story become personal? And why does this matter for our lives right now?
