In this episode of H2TechTalk, we explore the Regional Report on Europe from H2Tech’s Q1 issue, published in March. In line with its net-zero carbon goal, the EU plans to prioritize green H2 production, mainly from wind and solar energy. Over the short- and medium-terms, however, blue H2 will be needed to rapidly reduce emissions from existing gray H2 production and support the parallel and future development of green H2 production. The podcast also includes a discussion of blue and green H2 projects underway at European refineries.
