Show Notes:•The Latin American Boom was a literary movement during the 1960's - 1970's, that gave a lot of exposure to Latin American writers. •A change occured in the way authors tell stories, most notably with the introduction of Magic Realism. •Some of the most important writers of the movement were Julio Cortazar, Mario Vargas Llosa, Carlos Fuentes and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
