Generations differ from one another. We can always find things to compare when we talk about our parents, our grandparents and way back. But maybe, unlike past generations, ours (people who were born practically with cellphones right at our hands and the world wide information at the tip of our fingers) have a more distinctive feature: technology. On the episode of today we'll explore what makes our generation so different. How we are more diverse, perhaps more open-minded and -in the mind of some researchers- more self-oriented. I'm not the biggest fan of labeling things, but most definitely we are millenials, whether we like it or not. Check out the episode of today, you'll like it. SHOW NOTES:• Millenials were born, according to research, between 1982 and 2000. • They show a decreasing attitude towards some aspects, like being involved in society and enviromental issues. • They are also known, statistically at least, for considering wealth and self-fullfilment as a very important factor in their lives. • A word on Pronunciation: When we find words that begin with S+ another consonant, like: Strange, Special, Statistic, and so on, we must be careful to stress the first S and not to add a vowel sound. It should be Strange, and not Estrange.
