Season 16, Episode 69 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Cleveland Browns on the road on Sunday afternoon.
We open this show by going over the latest regarding the transactions that the Steelers have made since our Wednesday show and that includes us discussing the addition of free agent CB Tre Flowers to the roster. We discuss what kind of player Flowers is at this stage of his career and what he brings to the Steelers.
As usual, Alex and I look at the Steelers' latest injury report and how there's a possibility that several players could miss the Sunday game in Cleveland due to health reasons. The Browns' latest injury report is also covered during this segment.
Will and should OLB T.J. Watt, OLB Nick Herbig, WR Calvin Austin III, CB Brandin Echols, and G Issaac Seumalo play on Sunday, and especially if the game against the Browns winds up being meaningless? We discuss that question early in this show.
On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions.
We welcome Scott Petrak of The Browns Zone back to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Browns game. Petrak has covered the Browns for many years, and he certainly knows that team inside and out. We get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Cleveland. We talk in-depth to him about QB Shedeur Sanders and what he has seen out of the rookie to date.
Will Browns DE Myles Garrett get the sack record on Sunday against the Steelers? Will talk to Scott about the season Garrett has had to date. We also discuss the future of Browns HC Kevin Stefanski and GM Andrew Berry moving past the 2025 season. Scott also tells us what positions the Browns should focus on when it comes to the early rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Finally, Scott tells us that he thinks the Browns will beat the Steelers on Sunday and regardless of if the game winds up not being meaningless to Pittsburgh.
