Category: Education
Duration: 00:22:04

Description:

One of the most challenging, and sometimes frustrating, aspects of English is predicting where the primary stress should be in a word.
Primary stress is the one syllable in a word that sticks out the most: it’s longer, louder, and higher in pitch.
In this episode, we’ll dive deep into the world of primary stress and I’ll teach you, first, how to identify it, and then – how to predict it in some cases.
And if you know me, you know that effective practice is my THING.
So I’ll show you my 3-step system for identifying and practicing the primary stress.
Use it to see results and feel more confident and clear when communicating.

And to make it fun, you’ll also find a short quiz in the end.
