To start the show our guest Sathish talks about his journey out of Singapore at a young age, after being born in India, and the reason he had to leave the country with his family due to his education level. Sathish talks about multiple exits that he has had throughout his career, but they do spend time on some of the companies of his that he sold, including New Age Consulting. They move onto the company BlueBand Digital, and what it meant to start and sell a digital marketing agency at the time. They dive into the KPI’s that were being tracked before the sale, and what happened after the sale went through. Sathish talks about the motivation that the pandemic gave him to start his new company Schoolio, and how that ties into what he experienced as a child. Schoolio is an educational metaverse fusing core and interest-based curriculum in a choose-your-own-adventure model for K12. At Schoolio they believe with academic choices; students will own the outcome.
