In this episode of Reinvention Success Stories you ll meet Patti Dobrowolski, the founder of Up Your Creative Genius, and the author of Drawing Solutions:  How Visual Goal Setting Will Change Your Life.

As an actor on Broadway Patti became aware that she was always critiquing herself, never satisfied with her performance.  She began to wonder if she wasn’t  performing, then who was she?  This initially led her to getting a graduate degree in drama therapy but that still didn’t feel right…

In the midst of feeling stuck and uncertain of how to proceed, she tapped her imagination by doodling words and images of where she wanted to be and where she currently was.  It was these doodles that eventually led her to the success she experiences today working with individuals and organizations to tap their imagination and live into their true purpose.

Patti’s Gem of Wisdom:

When you are engaged with something that is creative and visual it solidifies it in the prefrontal cortex of your brain, which is what makes decisions for you every day.  Draw a simple picture of what you want, and daydream it everyday.  When something comes to you, take action   do one small thing.
