In this episode I outline the life and career of Command Sergeant Major Walter "Tag" Tagalicud the senior enlisted advisor for United Nations Command (UNC), Combined Forces Command (CFC), and United States Forces Korea (USFK).
Born and raised in the Philippines, Tagalicud was exposed to the military at a young age. His father, an aviator with the US Air Force, was stationed on the island nation for nearly eight years. Following in his foot steps, Walter Tagalicud enlisted in the United States Army and became an infantryman. Little did he know that his career would take him all over the world--in a variety of assignments and positions-- ultimately culminating into coveted senior enlisted leadership role in one of the most volatile regions in the world.
