You can start learning today. Members Reviews: Good for What It Is This is simply a vocabulary learning tool for those who like to memorize by rote. An English-speaking person says an English word, then a native Italian speaker says the Italian translation. There is very, very soft accordion music in the background playing Italian songs. There are two native Italian speakers who alternate every 10 or 15 words. Waste of money I suppose if you buy the other books in this series this last installment might be useful...maybe. But it is quite literally a reading of a vocabulary. There are four installments, I suppose according to the chapters in another book? Hard to tell since this is the only one I bought.
