Ultraviolet blood irradiation was mentioned a few years back but was mocked and made fun of.

We decided to look into it further to see if ultraviolet blood irradiation was some wild, crazy idea…and we were surprised by what we found.

UVBI (UltraViolet Blood Irradiation) was a widely accepted treatment nearly 100 years ago with a lot of case studies showing its success.  And there have been clinical studies showing it works.  But somehow it was removed from use…almost completely.

Here’s what Dr. Nedd goes over in this episode:

  • How it was discovered in the 1930s and was used through the 1940s to successfully treat critically ill patients.
  • The types of conditions it was found to help.
  • Why it got removed from hospitals as a treatment option in the 1950s and by whom.
  • New techniques for laser blood irradiation.
  • Where to get it done today.
