The veterans who put their lives on the line to protect us, our country, and our freedom aren’t taken care of as well as they should be.  One way we know this is because of the horrendous suicide rate they have as a group.  But it doesn’t have to be this way.  In this episode, Ron Nedd will talk with John Spagnola who has found a reason behind the ‘resistant’ suicide rate and what he’s doing to fix this problem.  Ron and John will go over:

  • What ‘black box’ drugs have to do with high suicide rates and what informed consent can do to deal with this.
  • What informed consent is and why it’s sorely lacking when it comes to veterans’ health care.
  • Why written informed consent isn’t required and why that puts our veterans more at risk.
  • What John has been doing to get this situation fixed.
