A lot has happened since we did our coronavirus episodes last year so we felt it was time for an update.  The update will be in two parts.  Part 1, this week, will cover the statistics being reported.  We’ll go over how they are determined and their accuracy.  In Part 2, we’ll cover treatments and the vaccines.   In this episode, Dr. Nedd will cover:

  • What a ‘case’ is defined as in medicine, how it has been counted in the past, and how it is being counted for coronavirus/COVID.
  • A study from Oxford that used the only valid, approved test for the current COVID virus and what it showed.
  • How the numbers are being determined for deaths related to coronavirus/COVID.
  • Comparing the numbers of ‘cases’ and deaths between states that have many restrictions and those with few to no restrictions.
