Description: One hundred ukeleles strumming in unison is the goal of local ukelele enthusiasts, hosting a festival to celebrate the instrument this weekend in Carbondale. Saturday marks the first-ever Western Slope Ukelele Jam. The event includes workshops on everything from Ukelele 101 to advanced blue grass and rock and roll techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments, though there will be several available on loan.
