Electric and Magnetic Energy

Category: Science & Medicine
Duration: 00:00:40

Description: Transcript: Potential energy can be stored in electric and magnetic fields. A compass is one example of a moving object with kinetic energy created by a magnetic field. Magnets can store energy which can be released in other forms. Electrical charges can also store energy which can be released in other forms. You can feel the force of electrical charges if you have ever noticed static cling. If you rub a balloon on your head it will stick to the ceiling. In this case electrical charges are holding the balloon up against the force of gravity.
