We talked to Dr. Claire Chewapreecha and Dr. Kate Baker on tips on effective communication, presentation skills and how they have both adapted to the new zoom environment. Resources Guest information Dr. Claire Chewapreecha is a Wellcome Intermediate and Sanger International Fellow based at Mahidol-Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit in Bangkok, Thailand. She works on melioidosis, a grossly under-recognised tropical disease, caused by a soil bacterium. Her team investigates the relationship between the host and bacterial genomics that determine melioidosis susceptibility and severity.
