In-Depth News Analysis: North Korea fired a short-range ballistic missile at 2:50 a.m. Sunday, the first day of the year. This came as the North Korea wrapped up a key party meeting with leader Kim Jong-un vowing to increase the production of nuclear warheads “exponentially.” Dr. Choi Kang, President at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies joins the show to share his analysis on the comments and on the inter-Korean relations for the year 2023.

In women’s volleyball, first place Hyundai E&C is back in the win column after Hwang Youn-joo scored 17 points in their match against IBK.
