He worked many different jobs, before deciding to re-enter the world of education as a young father at the age of 30. Cesar clawed his way into the tough world of Car Design and eventually made a name for himself at Jaguar, where he initiated and designed the Project 7 F-Type. I saw, first hand, how that project put him on the map and forced others to pay attention to him. Cesar is also an exceptional artist. He's produced a collection of exquisite illustrations on vintage race car panels, bonnets as well as aeroplane wings. He currently resides in Savannah, Georgia, where is the Chair of Industrial Design at S.C.A.D. Cesar is also the Creative Design Director at Innovatio Future Mobility and , as mentioned above, fulfilling a backlog of Art commissions. I will be talking to a cross section of people that work in the Car Design Industry. These will include designers, digital and clay modellers, vis artists and colour & material designers. The focus of our conversations will be centered around personal processes and experiences within the business. My aim is to demystify some of the preconceptions about this industry and give people an unadulterated glimpse into the business. I also wish to give the younger generation the opportunity to see that the people that these professionals come in different shapes and sizes and some of them will be unknown.
