I absolutely love Swaroop's sketches and they stand out from most of the stuff that I see online. He has absolutely mastered the art of drawing. This is evident not only in his Car sketches, but also his portraits, landscapes, engine studies etc. Swaroop can draw anything with accuracy, but more importantly, soul! When prompted on the origins of this apparent gift, he credits his father with instilling dedication his artistic craft from a young age. Swaroop has been an obsessive cricket fan from a very early age. Before he was allowed out to play with his friends, he was tasked with doing at least 10 sketches before being allowed out. This has grown into a daily habit and he can absolutely not function if he hasn't put pen to paper at least once during his waking hours. Swaroop is a Senior Designer working for Renault. I will be talking to a cross section of people that work in the Car Design Industry. These will include designers, digital and clay modellers, vis artists and colour & material designers. The focus of our conversations will be centered around personal processes and experiences within the business. My aim is to demystify some of the preconceptions about this industry and give people an unadulterated glimpse into the business. I also wish to give the younger generation the opportunity to see that the people that these professionals come in different shapes and sizes and some of them will be unknown.
