Description: This talk was given as part of the online Thomistic Institute Conference "Is Belief in God Reasonable? Aquinas' Summa Contra Gentiles in a Contemporary Context" in Rome on 4-5 December 2020. Dr. Gaven Kerr is an Irish Thomist Lay Dominican from Belfast. He has a BA in Scholastic Philosophy from Queen's University Belfast, MPhil in Philosophy from QUB, and a PhD in Philosophy from QUB. He has taught philosophy at QUB, St Malachy's Seminary Belfast, and Maynooth University. And he has taught theology at Mary Immaculate College Limerick.
