Carly was a scene kid who enjoyed MySpace, so it wasn’t surprising for her to fall in love with this 18-year-old young man who listened to the same bands as she did.  She had no idea that the hours upon hours of chatting online and on the phone weren’t with Brandon, but with a 50-year-old balding predator who had his eyes set on her. This monster was bold, travelling to her hometown to attend her 15th birthday party, before luring her to her untimely death. This is the story of Carly Ryan, a beautiful young girl who trusted far too much and would become the first person in Australia to be killed by an online predator.
