He has also been identified as a suspect in the attempted abduction and robbery of a young British man, but that case has pretty much been put in the bottom drawer. Backpackers keep going missing along the same stretch of highway, and police aren’t sure yet what has happened to them or if there is potentially a serial killer on the prowl.
