Description:

In the U.S., it used to be fairly common for you to see the names and photos of missing people on the back of milk cartons. This practice became obsolete when the Amber alert system was created in 1996, but prior to this it was a great way to alert the public of missing people, particularly missing Children. Johnny Gosch became one of the first children to be featured on milk cartons in 1982 after he went missing during one of his routine paper routes in Des Moines, Iowa. And while that alone is interesting, it’s actually one of the least fascinating facts around his disappearance. The police did a less than stellar job looking into Johnny’s disappearance, but was it shoddy police work or a massive cover up of a child sex trafficking ring? We’re going to walk through it all, and trust me when I say, this is a story you will never forget.
