Isaiah 51:1&2 have been our foundational verses: "Hearken unto Me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you." Those who are Christians could also be call, "Abrahamites", for we walk in the 'footsteps of faith' in which our ancestor Abraham walked when he believed the God he could not see. We continue his faith life today with the account of how he settled the dispute with Lot. There is more going on here than what is seen with the eye.
