These studies in human history take place AFTER the fact. The Ancestry of Jesus was told BEFORE the fact, through the Old Testament prophets. One of the most dramatic statements was made by David: "The Lord has sworn in truth to David, He will not turn from it: Of the fruit of thy body will I sit on thy throne", Psalm 132.11.
