This means that total victory over sins and weights are possible in this life. Renouncing and resisting are two 'basics' you need to habitually practice for survival, spiritually. And more than survival, being ready to meet the Lord at His Coming. Be careful of teaching that complicates. On the battlefield, the complicated can get you killed! K.I.S.S. "Keep it simple, Saints!"
