	Description:		"Throw out the lifeline", an old hymn says. In Genesis 3:15 God threw out a 'lifeline' to Adam and Eve, and in them the whole human race. God set a 'pattern' in motion when He did this. He was showing that His 'lifeline' would be His Word. Those words spoken to them, 'anchored' their souls. I am sure they kept them when their first son killed their second son. I can hear them quoting Genesis 3:15 to themselves. Of course, they didn't say: "Genesis 3:15 says!". They said, "God told us....." God Word, spoken to them is the same Word that is written to us in our wonderful, supernatural Book, The Bible. God's Word is the 'Anchor' for your soul in time of trouble. Our Scripture portion today: Psalm 119
