	Description:		This doesn't seem to be a very encouraging title, but please bear with me. I have observed this world, this country, people's lives. Many things are changing. Yes, there are many souls coming into the Kingdom. God is performing great miracles, signs and wonders in Islamic nations, communist nations, etc. There are two great forces at work in the world today: God and Satan. Satan knows that his time is short. He is filled with great wrath and is working his lying signs and wonders, terrifying and beheading in order to reap in 'his harvest' as well. Thinking over some things I had observed in the lives of some individuals, the Holy Spirit spoke this phrase to my heart: "Slipping into the abyss". Immediately the Scripture in 1 John 2:17 came to me: "and the world passes away and the lust thereof". I have experienced a little slippage in my life in managing my finances and my time. This word was a warning to me. Being older does not give the right of letting things slip. Only the diligent are wise. To leave a heritage to my family, I must not 'slip into the abyss' in any area, but be faithful unto death in order to leave a heritage of a life that demonstrates what God and His Word can produce.
