	Description:		This particular message Dr. Lake gives some of his background in the beginning days of meeting Jesus as Healer and being trained through the ministry of John Alexander Dowie. This message is full of wonderful teaching and historical events in his life. Luke 4:18 is the foundational verse and what Dr. Lake calls, "The Platform of Jesus". I have listened/read this message many times. It helps me to keep my focus on the real purpose of Christian ministry regardless of what particular function one has in the Body of Christ. The picture above is Dr. Dowie at the front of his tabernacle in Zion, Illinois that displayed the items discarded by people that were healed. It was under Dowie that the curse of sickness was stopped in the Lake family.
