A young man, with hopes of becoming a great travel writer, goes to Gulf Shores, Alabama the summer before his senior year of high school to work for his uncle. He plans on saving enough money to go on his first big adventure after graduation, but instead he becomes involved in a summer romance that unfolds under the watchful eye of a DMT-smoking cult leader.
