Web Summit has launched a new podcast series, Walks With Founders hosted by WIRED UK founding editor David Rowan. A long-standing Web Summit moderator, David will interview significant tech founders about their personal journeys, achievements and challenges , all while they take a walk together in a location significant to the interviewee. The first series will feature walks in China, Ukraine, France and beyond, with inspiring founders of software unicorns, autonomous car companies, pioneering health tech, and many more. Walks With Founders is an opportunity to connect on a deeper level with the most exciting tech talent on the planet today. In this week’s episode of Walks With Founders, David is in London to meet one of Google’s early engineers and a driving force behind Google Books, who went on to found The Climate Corporation in 2006, a company that pioneered the use of machine learning in helping farmers to optimize crop yield. Siraj Khaliq is currently a Partner on the investment team at Atomico, continuing his love for entrepreneurship “on the other side of the table” as a venture capitalist.
