	Description:		U.S. stocks closed higher on Thursday in spite of a sharp pullback late in the afternoon session, with the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average closing at another record close, as traders await the Federal Reserve's favored PCE inflation gauge due on Friday ahead of the long Labor Day weekend. A rally in the S&P 500 lost traction as Nvidia Corp. extended its selloff to more than 6%.
