Nifty started new week by climbing to a fresh record high and closing level on Apr 08 led by gains in automobile stocks. With this, the market cap of BSE-listed firms crossed the Rs 400 lakh crore mark. At close, Nifty was up 0.68% or 152.6 points at 22666.3. It has formed a higher top higher bottom formation compared to the previous sessions. Nifty could now stay in the 22529-22810 band for the near term.
