Beef and Lamb New Zealand say sheep and beef farmers’ profits could fall by almost a third this year because of inflation and low livestock prices… In its mid-season outlook released this week, Beef + Lamb NZ estimates average farm profit before tax of around $146,000, 31% below last year and lower than the average for the past five years… Let’s go straight to the coal face to get a reaction to this… Good friend of the show, Southland farmer Ben Dooley joins us now.
