Sometimes you need to be far away from something to know its true worth. The love for one’s home is something of that sort. You only realize its worth when you are away in another land. RJ Sajina recollects a time when she left home for college in Karnataka. She made friends with two other Malayalis and was inseparable to the extent that they were named Three Musketeers by others in the college. The Malayali musketeers began missing the festivities, the food, the costumes and celebrations of Kerala and started devising ways to keep Kerala close to them.
