Travel back in time with RJ Shyam as he takes you to the garden in the front yard of an old home during the Kerala monsoons. He introduces us to a peculiar Mango tree from his childhood that is still vivid in his memories. The tree was short in height and almost resembled a mushroom at times and the shadow of a dwarf man spreading his hands wide during nights. During the mango season the tree bore several clusters of mangoes. When other children drew pictures of coconut trees in school, little shyam drew the mango tree which his father called sundarimaavu (the beautiful mango tree). One day, Shyam woke up to find several broken moon pieces under the tree. How did the tree do that? His curious mind was baffled. Listen to the podcast to know what really happened.
