In the second of a multi-part series, Equal Voice Action convened a virtual panel of advocacy experts and leaders to discuss strategies for protecting immigrant and refugee rights in the face of controversial executive actions by President Donald Trump and potential legislation by the Republican-led U.S. Congress.

Moderated by Karin Wang, Vice President of Programs and Communications for Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Los Angeles, the panel included Emma Torres, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Campesinos Sin Fronteras; Cristina Jiménez, Co-Founder and Executive Director of United We Dream; Lawrence Benito, CEO/Executive Director of the Illinois Commission for Immigrant & Refugee Rights; and Marcia Olivo, Gender Justice Coordinator at the Miami Workers Center.
