	Description:		We recently traveled to Lexington, Kentucky for a State of the Science Summit on Neuroendocrine Tumors. The meeting, led by experts from University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, spotlighted the latest management strategies in the treatment of patients with neuroendocrine tumors, starting with the diagnosis, classification, and staging of these tumors, to surgery and sequencing approaches with novel agents, such as somatostatin analogues and peptide receptor radionuclide therapy.
