	Description:		In our latest episode of "On Human Rights," we hear from Jacques Hartmann, a senior lecturer at the School of Law at the University of Dundee in Scotland, who argues that the debate around the European Court of Human Rights is often confused, uninformed and at times misleading. Denmark has traditionally been a strong supporter of human rights. This is demonstrated by the fact that Denmark was a founding member of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), which protects citizens against human rights violations. But things have changed. In recent years, there has been an increasingly bitter debate about the ECHR and Denmark’s continued membership.
