Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan joined Carl Dukes and Mike Bell to preview Sunday’s match at Sporting KC. Guzan on the win over Colorado: “You would want it like that every game. At the end of the day it wasn’t pretty and it wasn’t our sharpest game by any means but a result is a result.” Guzan then talked with Dukes and Bell about the Lionel Messi goal yesterday in Champions League: “Messi has scored against me in a free kick situation. You set up the wall to try and limit what he can see and the place he is trying to aim. It was a fantastic free kick. There is not many people in the world that can do that.” Guzan on Pity Martinez’s struggles: “To understand the moment he is in now you have to go back to his success last year in Argentina where he was comfortable every day.” Guzan on Atlanta United’s supporters: “They are as close to European fans as you will find in America.” |
