When a 2011 hunting accident left Maurice Desjardins' face disfigured, he lost hope for living a normal life. Despite having multiple reconstruction surgeries, he was left without a nose, parts of his jaw, and teeth. But then he went to see a new doctor who suggested a risky procedure that had only been successfully completed 40 times before.
