This month we have Obskur Music Co-founder, Nomad Black. After being exposed to an influential phase of Calgary's boom in electronic music in 2009, Nomad Black AKA Emerencz Merkle began their musical journey & contributions to the community. Since then, Emerencz has been devoting their energy to a steadfast & likeminded group of individuals, on the same level of building a strong inviting place to enjoy music. Inspired by original Berlin techno, this young and aspiring purveyor of sound brings their own flavour of inviting dark hollow techno 4/4 rhythms complimented by organic and worldly analog soundscapes.
