Welcome to the place where I get to let my geek flag fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This is where I look into the world of geekdom and some geek news, comics, The Simpsons, Star Wars, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. In this level of the podcast, I got an insider’s look at Galaxy’s Edge with my good friend Arvin. We talked about his evolution as a Star Wars nerd, lightsaber forms, Bantha farts, Arvin’s favorite three things about Galaxy’s Edge, hype about the Rise of Resistance attraction, famous people he met, and then his mini reviews of Episode 1 to 8 and ratings. We then quickly discuss upcoming Star Wars books & comics, rumor of Lucasfilm eying Emily Blunt for a role, the TIE Dagger, Giancarlo Esposito in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano in live action, the Emmy nom for Star Wars Resistance, Kanya West making Star Wars homes for the homeless, Joonas Suotamo re: the most shocking surprise in Episode IX, and Kevin Smith says the last shot of Episode IX will “melt your mind.” We end with my 30 second reviews of From a Certain Point of View, Leia: Princess of Alderaan, Queen’s Shadow, Thrawn: Alliances, Phasma, Master & Apprentice, The Jedi Path, Lost Stars, and Thrawn: Treason.
