The Wire:

Michael Flynn is out as national Security adviser because he apparent miss lead Mike Pence’s about a conversation he had with the Russian ambassador prior to Trump’s inauguration. In a phone call it is reported that Flynn assured the Russians that there would be sanction relief when Trump took over.

Aside from the Flynn fiasco, the Trump administration is also having a really hard time with leaks. There is nothing good coming from these leaks, and incompetence has become a general theme of the White House over the past week and a half

There is more clarity on what President Trump’s executive order on Obamacare entailed, The Obamacare Mandate has basically become optional. The IRS has announced that it will now receive and not reject 1040’s with line 61 not completed. I disagree with this. Obamacare is the law of the land, pass some legislation and repeal it. Don’t pass an executive order saying federal law does not need to be followed. We hated when Obama did it, and I hate it now.

#GRAMMYSSOWHITE

“…Adele won all five Grammys she was nominated for, including album of the year (for “25”), record of the year and song of the year (for “Hello”), besting Beyoncé in all three categories. “25” is Adele’s least impressive album, but its pomp-and-circumstance soul belting is the sort of classicism likely to appeal to the Recording Academy voting members, who tend to skew older and more traditional. Beyoncé’s album “Lemonade” (and the song “Formation,” nominated in the other two categories) is musically provocative and wide ranging, and rife with commentary about the meaning of blackness in the United States.” –NYT

“…At the end of the night, when Adele won album of the year, she deferred to Beyoncé: “The way that you make me and my friends feel, the way you make my black friends feel, is empowering,” Adele told her from the stage, while behind her, a huge gaggle of predominantly white male songwriters and producers clapped enthusiastically...” –NYT

Formation peaked at 10 and is the only  top 10 single on the album

Adele had 2 top 10 hits

Hello was number 1

Send Me Your Love (To Your New Lover) was number 8

When Joy Villa woke up Sunday morning, she was a rather obscure musician most well-known for her revealing outfits.

How obscure? Her 2014 album "I Make the Static" was ranked 543,502 on Amazon.

But when she woke up Monday morning, after attending the Grammys, all that had changed. Her "Static" album had soared to No. 1 -- an increase of 54,350,100 percent! In fact, the top six entries on Amazon's "movers and shakers" were all works by Villa.

And this week in FEMINISM

Steph Gongora isn’t ashamed of her period, and doesn’t think other women should be either.

The yogi shared a video of herself on Instagram last week in which she performs a series of yoga moves while “free bleeding” — not using a cup, tampon or pad while menstruating — through her white yoga pants.... YUCK
