Ryan was not able to whip enough votes to support the heaping pile of dog turds, and instead of watch the bill get shot down in a blaze of glory, Ryan just canceled the vote. What does Trump do? Well he get’s on Twitter like a 15 year old and says mean things to the Freedom Caucus, The Heritage Foundation, and Club for Growth. Three groups that vigorously supported him in his campaign. The Freedom Caucus has been the only group in Congress that has stood up against the Washington Establishment for years, and Trump says I’m done with you guys, I will reach out to the Democrats. A North Hollywood school has had it’s budget slashed because it has to many black kids enrolled. That’s awful right? One might say racist even… What if the kids are white is that still racist? I only ask because the only variable that has changed… is the race of the kids. The Los Angeles Unified school district has a law on the books that provides more funding for schools with less than a 30% white population. Walter Reed Middle School has eclipsed that dreaded 30% mark a couple years ago, and unfortunately they have not been able to shake their white problem so it’s time for budget cuts… which means as the class sizes grow the faculty will shink cause #Layoffs #Fair. http://abc7.com/education/race-based-school-budget-cuts-spark-outrage-in-noho/1818792/ April 4th is another National Day of protest YAY! Good we do not need to be spending tax dollars on this nonsense anymore. Here is the cold hard truth Art should be funded by the art patrons, and PBS and NPR are irrelevant, and no longer needed. The idea that we need to pay for “public broadcasting” in the age of podcast, YouTube, and blogging is absurd, yet we still pump millions into both. The crazy part is the content will survive without government funding. PBS takes donations, if PBS is so important to you then, I don’t know, donate some money. If you can’t afford it don’t worry shows like Sesame St. have a rock-solid brand and will thrive in the free market. As for NPR, they dominate the top podcast rankings, so I think it is fair to say that their brand is also strong, and will thrive in the free market as well. If they don’t then that means there is no market for either, and we were wasted our money propping the nonsense up in the first place. That is the beauty of the free market.
